Iwatayama Monkey Park

아라시야마에 있는 언덕 공원으로, 약 120마리의 야생 일본원숭이가 자유롭게 돌아다닌다. 정상의 전망대에서는 교토 최고의 파노라마 전망을 즐길 수 있다. 방문객은 안전하게 철망 먹이 오두막 안에서 원숭이에게 직접 먹이를 줄 수 있다.

The climb to the summit takes 15–20 minutes on a dirt path, so wear real shoes. Admission is a small fee (roughly ¥550 for adults). Don't make direct prolonged eye contact with the macaques and don't touch them outside the feeding hut, per posted park rules.
