Iwatayama Monkey Park

位於嵐山、需步行登頂的山丘公園,棲息著約120隻自由活動的野生日本獼猴,山頂開闊處可俯瞰京都全景,是市內數一數二的絕佳視野。訪客可在設有圍籠的餵食小屋內,以安全的方式親手餵食猴子。

The climb to the summit takes 15–20 minutes on a dirt path, so wear real shoes. Admission is a small fee (roughly ¥550 for adults). Don't make direct prolonged eye contact with the macaques and don't touch them outside the feeding hut, per posted park rules.
