다도, 즉 '차의 길'을 직접 체험하며 배우는 시간 — 전통 다다미방에서 말차를 타고 받는 예법을 익히며, 보통 선(禪)의 영향을 받은 다도 철학에 대한 간단한 설명도 함께 곁들여진다.

Sessions typically run 45–90 minutes and are widely offered in English near Gion and Arashiyama. Wear socks without holes, since shoes come off for the tatami room. Booking ahead is recommended, especially for smaller tea houses.
